For the first time ever, you can buy directly from businesses through Instagram chat, including product details and shipping information. You can now buy directly from your favorite businesses on Instagram without having to leave the app, thanks to the addition of direct purchases via chats. Sending a direct message to a business about an item you’re interested in, and then paying for it from that message, is possible.
All you have to do is wait for the poster to request a payment, as long as the poster has a business account. As long as you don’t want to get into the nitty-gritty of additional details like colors, sizes, and so on first.
Payment Method
The business can then accept payment, confirm your order, and ship your product. As part of the same direct message chain, businesses can also send you order details and tracking information.
Spam Free
Anti-fraud measures are in place for all payments made through Instagram chat, whether via messages or otherwise. You can rest easy knowing that your personal and financial information will not be shared with any third parties. You can also use a PIN, a fingerprint, or a face ID to verify your identity.
For now, only verified Instagram business accounts are able to make purchases through the chat interface. Meta Pay is used to process payments. Unless you choose to share your purchases on your feed, no one will be able to see what you’ve bought.
