Afiniti announced that its Board of Directors has named Larry Babbio as the company’s next Chief Executive Officer. He will continue to serve as Chair of Afiniti’s Board of Directors, a post he was appointed to last month. Babbio has been on Afiniti’s Board of Directors since 2016, while he was Vice-Chair and President of Verizon Communications. According to a press statement, Babbio brings significant technology sector experience and global senior leadership to Afiniti.
“Afiniti is a firm made up of devoted and bright people who have produced a very powerful technology together,” Babbio remarked. “We have a bright future ahead of us, and in order to realize our full potential, we must continue to establish a supportive workplace that allows all of our workers to thrive — while providing excellent service to our clients,” he added.
Afiniti’s founder Zia Chishti resigned as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Afiniti last month after being charged with sexual assault.
